Regeneration of Oxshott High Street Reaches Major Milestone

Oxshott Village regeneration - Post Office building

The final planning stage of the Oxshott High Street regeneration project has taken an important step forward. Revised planning permission for the former Post Office site at 49–50 High Street was approved last night, following a presentation to councillors by James Davis at the committee hearing. The hearing can be viewed via the link below. You can also view the hearing confirming approval for Oxshott Village Sports Club's two new padel tennis courts.

Meanwhile, work on Site 1 (next to Munch and Wiggles) continues to progress smoothly. We extend our thanks to Wolsey House Construction, whose team has maintained excellent communication, minimised disruption wherever possible, and carried out much of the work from the rear of the building to reduce impact on the High Street, which has so far been very successful and kept the progress consistent and quick, yet discreet.

Now three months into the build, Site 1 remains on schedule and is advancing in line with the project team’s planned timeline.
