March Regeneration Update: Work at Site 2 Soon to Begin

The regeneration of our High Street continues to make excellent progress, thanks to the Wolsey House Group team and their efficient strategy.
At Site 1, next to Munch & Wiggles, construction remains fully on track, with Wolsey House Group still working toward completion for this Summer. Many residents will have noticed a visible milestone in recent weeks, as the existing roof structure has now been removed. This marks a significant stage in the redevelopment process and clears the way for the installation of the new roofing, which the community will see very soon. As this work progresses, the building will begin to take on its new form, bringing the regeneration project on to the next phase.
Equally as exciting is the news that work will soon begin on Site 2, the old Post Office. This is set to begin next month and represents the next major phase of the regeneration programme. The redevelopment of Site 2 will mark another positive step in shaping the future of the project.
A huge aspect of the project so far has been the careful approach taken by Wolsey House Group’s team to minimise disruption. Many residents have commented that, despite the significant work taking place, they hadn’t actually noticed, as the disruption has been zero to minimal. This has been very much by design, as mentioned in our previous update. The Wolsey House group team has prioritised a construction strategy that allows for excellent progress behind the scenes, whilst ensuring the High Street is minimally affected if at all.
We are pleased to confirm once again that all timelines and expectations are currently being met, which reflects the careful planning and collaboration that has gone into the project, with the community.
