The High Street Regeneration Project is making great progress, and The Team are delighted to be approaching the final stages of the works at Site 1. It won’t be long before that site is complete, bringing exciting new spaces and opportunities to the heart of the local community.
Over recent months, the team has been working very hard behind the scenes with a continued focus on delivering improvements while keeping disruption to the community to an absolute minimum.
Construction works can occasionally bring challenges, particularly when it comes to essential utility connections that rely on third party companies and suppliers. While the Regeneration Team has attempted to provide as much notice as possible to the community for the utility works at Site 1, unfortunately they have been beholdent to the third party companies and works were scheduled with only 24 hours’ notice to the team, who are also unfortunately unable to manage exactly how those utility works are carried out.
The team appreciate that this can be frustrating and would like to thank the local community for their continued patience and understanding. They will continue to do everything possible to minimise disruption, keep the community informed and ensure that the remaining works progress as smoothly as possible.
With completion now very close at Site 1, the team are looking forward to sharing more details about the new commercial spaces that form part of that space.
