The High Street regeneration progresses

The High Street regeneration will be underway this summer starting with The West One and former Deli site.
We wish West One all the best as they move to Cobham.
Surrey Hills Butchers pass baton over

Surrey Hills Butchers that has been led by the amazing Simon has passed the Baton over to Olly Goss, who has been with Simon since the beginning, and will now take the but hers forward onto a new and exciting chapter led with his brother Will. It’s wonderful to see The Goss Brothers coming together which was a dream for them both and are both excited for all the fun and exciting years ahead. We want to say a huge thank you to Simon Taylor and his family for all the dedication and commitment to Oxshott these last 15 years and wish them a super successful and healthy future.
Surrey Hills Delicatessen moves

Surrey Hills Delicatessen moves next to Clay Hair Salon in the high street. Nick and the team have got almost double the space and will bring a far greater range and offering in their new home. Oxshott is delighted to see this wonderful business continue to thrive and we can’t wait to see what’s in store.
Amended planning for the Post Office announced
Amended planning information for the regeneration of the Oxshott Village Post Office site has been announced.

A charming glimpse into the past – this original 1950s image of the former petrol station sits beautifully alongside the thoughtfully updated plans for the Post Office site, blending heritage with future vision.

The new design and layout have been carefully developed to provide safer, wider access for vehicles entering the proposed rear parking area. The right-hand side, nearest to the Centre for Sight, remains unchanged from the previously approved plans—maintaining continuity while enhancing overall functionality.

A view looking down the high street reveals the approved Heath Buildings alongside the more compact proposed Post Office scheme opposite—together creating a beautiful sense of balance and a welcoming gateway into the village.
The Taste of Oxshott
The Taste Of Oxshott
A celebration of local - 02/05/2024

The Victoria are hosting their very first Taste of Oxshott event on 2nd May 2024 in collaboration with Nick Sinclair from the Surrey Hills Delicatessen.
Book your table here

Together, The Victoria's Head Chef Daniel Lee and Nick have devised a five course menu that celebrates the very best of local produce. Using meat from the Surrey Hills Butchers, fish from Tillingbourne and mead from Loxwood. The tasting menu celebrates the seasons, the county and the community spirit of Oxshott High Street businesses.
The menu for the evening is available to view here. There is a vegetarian tasting menu available too - you’ll find that here.
The Victoria’s very own wine expert Anoop has perfectly paired each dish with an accompanying wine - you can enjoy this flight for an additional £65pp.

The Taste of Oxshott is the bringing together of stalwart Oxshott businesses, a celebration of our beautiful village and the reunion of Dan and Nick in a professional kitchen. That’s right! Before they worked on the same high street, Nick and Dan worked at the same stove in the kitchens of the Burford Bridge and the Brooklands hotels. Nick taught Dan everything he knows (or so he says…) and we’re delighted to see them reunited for the evening.
